I watched the first season of The Mentalist. It is good. Our hero, Patrick Jane is an interesting and (good-looking) angsting soul who consults the CBI (=Californian Bureau of Investigation) on murders and other serious crimes. He is good, annoying, and arrogant, and so far he didn't make a mistake. (=Which I'm not sure how I feel about.) ( tl;dr )
